My friends says, "why bother to migrate, you will be second-class citizens anyway!"
Well, my answer is -- I don't mind being a second-class citizen.
As long as
- I know where my taxes go
- my future kids will receive the best education at the most reasonable cost
- world-class healthcare benefits are available without spending a fortune
- I can smell the flowers around me
- I can stay alone in my room not thinking about being burglarized
- my family and next generations to come will be assured of a good life
These are all I want, and I know that New Zealand can offer me all these.
The path to all these will not be easy. Life is not fair. But I choose the life I live.
