A fixed term opportunity exists for a talented and dedicated .NET Developer to work within the Ministry’s Business Technology and Information Services directorate. The focus will be on improving and delivering applications while being involved in many aspects of the software development process (including business case or gap analysis, specification, implementation, testing and post-release activities and maintenance).

You are a self-motivated person who has a true passion for creating quality, maintainable code. You feel a sense of accomplishment and pride from the use of your application in a diverse organisation. You have thorough .NET experience and a good understanding of MSSQL. You are confident with C#, Windows Communication Foundation, IIS, Design Patterns and Service Oriented Architecture. You believe in the Agile Methodology and have a strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming.

As the successful applicant you will have excellent relationship management and negotiation skills, be able to solve problems and approach work with energy and motivation. Project management skills and experience in leading projects would also be an advantage.
